Coming with a group of friends or the family, our vacation home provides the setting you need to be completely comfortable as well as convenient to lake fishing. Our lake house on Sunrise Lake in Middleton New Hampshire is across the road from the beach and a quarter mile from the boat launch.
We provide a kayak and canoe for our guests to use. Life jackets, paddles, and fishing poles are also at our vacation home for use. The kayak and canoe have wheels to provide a means to get them to the boat launch easily.
In New Hampshire, those 15 years old and younger can fish for free. Fishing licenses can be purchased online at the NH Fish and Game. Passes are available as 1-day, 3-day, and 7-day, which works well for those planning a short fishing vacation.
Fishing on Sunrise Lake, Middleton NH
Sunrise Lake is 256 acres in size and fairly shallow. The average depth is 6 feet and it is 12 feet at it's deepest. Sunrise Lake is river fed and fishing is excellent. You will find large and small mouth bass, pickerel, horned pout, and white perch in Sunrise Lake.
If you wish to bring your own fishing boat on vacation with you we recommend only smaller boats since the lake is on the shallow side. A depth finder is also helpful when boating in unfamiliar waters. Boats registered in states other than New Hampshire are allowed in NH lakes as long as they are used in NH less than 30 days a year.
Bait can be purchased at Quinn Bait and Tackle at the intersection of route 16 and route 153 in Union New Hampshire. Quinns is only 5 miles from our vacation home.
