Beach Vacationing at the Lake
Our beach vacation rental is located in New Hampshire's renowned lakes region. The sandy beach is situated in a cove on Sunrise Lake in Middleton New Hampshire.
Swimming is excellent in the crystal clear fresh water. Our beach unlike those on the ocean is warm and private surrounded by trees which provide ample shade throughout the day. Boating is not allowed in the cove, therefore swimmers can be carefree.
For those who love to explore, you can swim out about 20 feet into the cove and reach a small sandbar. Swim even further to the edge of the cove where the open lake begins. This area is shallow with a smooth rock bottom. The water is so clear you can watch the fish swim.
If you wish to explore the main lake, I would suggest taking the kayak or canoe out from the boat launch to the small island. There is an excellent sandbar there as well for you and your guests to hangout and play.
A Beach Vacation Rental for the Family
Our beach has enough sand to entertain the kids for hours building castles and trenches. The lake bottom is also sandy and the grade is gradual. This makes the beach perfect for little ones.
Our beach is located just across the road from our beach vacation rental. We are at the end of the road which makes for a quiet setting. The beach is shared with our neighbors as part of the lake association. We hope you even make a friend or two while on vacation.
The beach is managed by the association and is well maintained. There are two picnic tables and trash pails. If you need to head back to the house for any reason it is only a few short steps away which makes for a more enjoyable day at the beach. There is always the need for a snack or drink during a long day at the beach.
